Tie rod pinch screw and its purpose?

It is provided near the foot of cylinder jacket to prevent tie rod from vibrating. It is attached at the anti nodal point of the transverse vibration so that fracture due to vibration can be avoided.normally
three screws positioned equilateral at the anti-nodal point. always loose before removing the tie-rod.
