why do we use fully floating gudgeon pin in air compressor and fixed gudgeon pin in auxillary engine?

but in case of a/e crankshaft is driving the piston in all strokes except the power stroke, where the piston drives crankshaft so the sudden change in direction of force can cause an impact loading on the pin if it is floating due to the clearance, if floating type is used in a/e
